This may account for the 27 gravures called for on the title page; the Table des Gravures lists 24 plates.Half-leather with green marbled boards; raised bands and gilt tooling on the spine; t.e.g. The leather appears to have been dyed green (conformimg with the boards) but is now faded; hinges good but tender, two of four binding cords are broken; edges rubbed all around. Interior is clean; frontis is detached and is marked by a small stamp, "Bibl. de L'Opera"; a piece of the corner of p.47 is gone. French text. Very Good.
